Pre Frame (Day 45)

Went on site slab looking cured and site cleaned up for next stage being framing. Nice track marks across the slab and first lot of framing materials on site.
Also see if you pick up the pipe that was runover.

Slab Laid (Day 43)

PD laid our slab today starting well B4 07:00 and the heavens opened up later in the day. Reading my mind my temporary SS rang and gave me a update and walked thru what had happened today and the schedule for the next week. Any of my questions or concerns he was generous with his time and answered them.
Framing to start next week.

Back to Work for PD (Day 41)

Noticed that there had been some deliveries onsite and some new trenches dug as my revised slab pour is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 10/01) as advised by my SS last week instead of today (09/01)  but some how I doubt all the pre work will get done and it will get rescheduled for a 4th time.
So now expecting/guessing it around Thursday (12/01) this week.(See POST 08/12/2011)

Xmas Day Aftermath

Checked the block after the Xmas day storms and noticed some of the storm water pipes had come up as well as parts of the block had washed away.
These shots are 5 days later
Not sure what impact on the site will wait for PD to come back in the New year to advise.
Compared to some areas such as Eltham and Taylors Lakes got off light. We were in next suburb to our block and recieved a fair amount of rain & small hail stones.

Progress to Xmas (Day 24)

Credit to PD they have made good progress these last few weeks of 2011 and I'm feeling confident the slab will be laid first 2 weeks of 2012.

We are Under Way!!! (Day 22)

PD have commenced as per their updated promise this past week.
We now have the following:-

1. Site cut
2. Retaining wall
3. Site fence
4. Power to site
5. Toilet
6. Lots of holes

7. A happy customer

Expectations Realigned

Yesterday was given site cut 12/12 today it is now 16/12?
Yesterday was given 22/12 for slab today it is 09/01?

A tap plus three drill holes is all we have to show ONSITE after nearly 5 months of interactions and contract signing back in August 2011.
